The IMOU N118W 18CH NVR provides a powerful and scalable recording solution for larger home and business surveillance systems. It supports up to 18 camera channels while combining wired connectivity with dual-band Wi-Fi 6.

Moreover, four external antennas help provide a stable wireless connection with low latency. This makes the NVR suitable for security installations that require multiple cameras and dependable access to recorded footage.

Support for Up to 18 Channels

The N118W supports up to 18 channels, giving you room to build or expand your surveillance system.

For wireless installations, the NVR can connect to up to eight 5MP Wi-Fi cameras. Meanwhile, wired connectivity supports up to eighteen 5MP cameras.

The system provides a maximum inbound bandwidth of 90Mbps for Wi-Fi and wired camera connections.

Dual-Band Wi-Fi 6 with Four Antennas

Dual-band Wi-Fi 6 and four antennas provide a stable connection between the NVR and compatible wireless cameras. As a result, the system can deliver smoother video transmission with lower latency.

Automatic IMOU Camera Pairing

Compatible IMOU cameras can pair automatically with the NVR, reducing complicated configuration during installation.

In addition, connected IMOU cameras can be added to the Imou Life App for convenient remote access and camera management.

Two-Way Audio

The NVR includes a built-in microphone and speaker. Therefore, users can hear and speak directly through the NVR without requiring additional audio hardware.

Support for H.265 and H.264 compression helps reduce storage requirements while maintaining video quality.

Consequently, H.265 can provide longer recording periods using the same available storage capacity while also supporting efficient playback and live viewing.

Multi-Channel Playback

Review footage from up to four channels simultaneously, including:

• 4 × 8MP channels at 15fps
• 4 × 5MP channels at 30fps

Playback speeds of 2×, 4×, 8× and 16× also make it easier to search through recorded events.

ONVIF Support

The N118W conforms to ONVIF Profile T, allowing integration with compatible third-party IP cameras. Therefore, users are not necessarily limited to an entirely IMOU-based camera system.

Imou Life App

Remote access through the Imou Life App allows users to view and manage their surveillance system from compatible iOS and Android devices.

Connected IMOU cameras can also provide access to supported camera settings and intelligent functions through the app.
