The Ajax 8 channel NVR is a network video recorder designed to manage and record video from up to eight compatible IP cameras. It supports video streams up to 4K resolution and provides integrated video management through Ajax mobile apps and PRO Desktop.

Powered from a low-voltage DC supply, the NVR DC is designed for indoor security installations where reliable video recording, event management and Ajax alarm verification are required.

Video Stream And Recording

The Ajax NVR DC supports up to 8 video channels with video resolution of up to 4K at 25/30 FPS.

Supported video decoding formats include:

The recorder supports total bandwidth of up to 100 Mbit/s.

Ajax 8 Channel NVR Video Management

The Ajax video management system provides centralised control of connected cameras.

Features include:

• Video wall combining images from connected cameras
• Event filters
• Timeline with smooth video preview
• Camera recording triggered by Ajax alarm scenarios
• Video access through mobile and desktop applications

When configured as part of an alarm scenario, Ajax detectors can trigger selected cameras to begin recording. The resulting video can then be delivered through Ajax mobile and desktop applications.

The NVR provides both Ethernet and Bluetooth communication.

ONVIF Profile T support is partial.

Ajax cameras and NVRs can also be integrated with compatible third-party video management systems through ONVIF.

Security Protection

The Ajax NVR DC includes tamper protection for professional security installations.

The tamper system can notify users if an attempt is made to:

• Detach the device from the installation surface
• Remove the device from the mounting panel

Access rights can also be distributed between users in Ajax mobile applications and monitoring company operators through PRO Desktop.
