IMOU PoE Indoor & Outdoor 3MP Turret Camera

IMOU PoE Indoor & Outdoor 3MP Turret Camera

The IMOU PoE Indoor & Outdoor 3MP Turret Camera is a versatile IMOU PoE turret camera designed for indoor and outdoor security monitoring. It delivers 3MP 2K UHD video through a 2.8mm lens with a 96° wide-angle field of view, providing clear coverage for areas such as yards, garages and shops.

Power over Ethernet simplifies installation by allowing compatible network data and power to use a single Ethernet connection. The camera also supports traditional 12V DC power for additional installation flexibility.

Detection Technology

The camera uses IMOU SENSE™ AI technology for intelligent human and vehicle detection.

According to the supplied manufacturer information, IMOU SENSE™ provides 50% higher detection accuracy, helping the camera distinguish people and vehicles more precisely and reduce unnecessary alerts.

The camera also provides four intelligent night vision modes:

• Infrared Night Vision Mode
• Colour Night Vision Mode
• Smart Night Vision Mode
• Off Mode

Full-colour night monitoring is supported by LED illumination with a stated range of up to 30 metres.

Wireless Communication

The PS8D is primarily designed for wired network communication through Power over Ethernet rather than Wi-Fi.

It supports PoE IEEE 802.3af, allowing compatible Ethernet infrastructure to provide network connectivity and electrical power through a single cable.

The camera also supports integration with:

• Google Assistant
• Amazon Alexa

This allows supported camera functions to be used within compatible smart home environments.

Security Protection

The camera combines intelligent detection with active visual deterrence.

Red-blue warning lights provide a strong visual warning designed to discourage intruders when suspicious activity occurs.

Security and monitoring features include:

• IMOU SENSE™ human detection
• IMOU SENSE™ vehicle detection
• Red-blue warning lights
• Four night vision modes
• Full-colour night vision
• All-day recording
• IP67 weather protection

The IP67 weatherproof rating provides protection against dust and challenging outdoor weather conditions, including heavy rain.

Power Supply

The camera supports two power options:

• Power over Ethernet (PoE IEEE 802.3af)
• Traditional 12V DC power

PoE simplifies compatible installations by transmitting power and network data through a single Ethernet cable.

The alternative 12V DC power option provides additional flexibility where conventional camera power infrastructure is already available.
